Moving in Peachtree Corners, GA: What to Expect

Planning a move in Peachtree Corners? Our crews handle local moves around Peachtree Corners and the rest of Metro Atlanta, plus long-distance moves to and from Georgia. Every move starts with a written estimate that lists the crew, truck and any stairs, elevator or long-carry fees up front.

Moving day in Peachtree Corners usually means planning around a few local details: HOA or apartment move-in rules, parking for a full-size truck, and traffic on the main roads at rush hour. Share both addresses and any gate codes, and we’ll send the right crew and truck.

Two to three weeks before the move, start packing the rooms you use least: guest rooms, closets, garages and storage areas. Use small boxes for books and heavy items and large boxes only for light things like linens. Label each box on two sides with the room and its contents, and keep an “open first” box with chargers, medications, a few dishes and a change of clothes.

The week of the move, confirm elevator or loading-dock times, reserve parking for the truck if you live in an apartment or townhome, and let neighbors know if the truck will block a shared driveway. Set aside valuables, important documents and jewelry to carry yourself.

On move day, walk the crew through the home before loading starts and point out anything fragile or anything that stays behind. At the new home, a quick room-by-room walkthrough lets the crew place furniture where you want it the first time.
