What Our Customers Say

I've used Budget Moving Services three times now – for moves in Lawrenceville, Duluth, and Norcross. Without a doubt, they are the best value movers in the Gwinnett county area, easily the best movers that will show up same-day within the hour, which no other company has that to offer. The first time was a small apartment move where I needed 2 movers near me to help move my furniture from the apartment on the 3rd floor, and it needed to be done that same day by 4pm. After the phone call, they showed up fast… 2 movers were at my apartment within the hour with all supplies and moving equipment. The second was a house move where I used their full packing and unpacking services for the whole kitchen. The third was for my office – they provided full service moving and packing for my business office in Lawrenceville, and even stored and redelivered my banker box files and other misc. items within a month once I was settled in… plus it was at half the price of other quotes. Every single time, the team was punctual, polite, and careful. They always give binding moving quotes with NO hidden fees or surprises, and I've never paid a cent more than quoted — other than when I give them a tip. They also helped my neighbor with moving furniture and bins and boxes into her POD, and loaded and packed it for her the next-day. I've recommended them to friends in Buford, Snellville, and Peachtree Corners. All with the same feedback of 5-stars. If you search for the cheapest movers in Lawrenceville or the most affordable moving company in Gwinnett County… you never know what/who you'll get but luckily I ended up finding Budget Moving Services. Don't let the “budget” name fool you – their quality is top-notch and their entire team is hardworking movers and team players that are like a human assembly machine. I'm a loyal customer for a reason and will continue to use them for all my future moves. Thanks again to Phil, David, and Nick and the backend team at Budget Moving Services. You guys truly rock and this is why I would much rather support smaller businesses!!

Nick and Budget Moving Services turned my nightmare move into a blessing. I recently completed a big relocation from Houston, Texas to Lawrenceville, Georgia, and I can't say enough good things about Budget Moving Services and its owner, Nick. If you're searching for 24-hour affordable movers in Lawrenceville GA, reliable local moving services in Gwinnett County, or long-distance movers from Texas to Georgia, look no further. They truly went above and beyond. I first reached out to Nick in the early morning hours (around 1:00 AM) because I needed help unloading a truck from Texas that the mover called and told me he'd be dropping off in my driveway about 4 AM and leaving for me to unload, even though I'd already paid him for unloading on the Lawrenceville side. When I questioned this, he asked me where he was going to find movers at 4 AM. I googled 24-hour truck unloading and Budget came up. I called Nick at 1 AM and he answered right away, assuring me that he and his mover Sam would be at my Lawrenceville home by 4:00 AM. Sure enough, they even showed up a little early — professional, organized, well-prepared, and ready to work. I originally hired them for a labor-only unload move, but they delivered so much more. What started as a simple unload turned into full-service support: unpacking a 20ft U-Haul (which the Houston mover had severely misjudged; I actually needed a 26ft vehicle and had to go back to Houston the following week on my own dime, since the original mover refused to make his error right), reassembling furniture, and carefully organizing everything exactly how I wanted. They carried very heavy pieces of office equipment upstairs—a desk and 4 ft tall file cabinet, as well as an antique armoire, a king size rubber latex bed, and many heavy boxes. Nick only charged me the agreed-upon labor rate with no hidden fees—a completely flat rate; he was genuinely there to help me out in a stressful last-minute situation. What I had thought would be my final move turned into two trips between Houston and Lawrenceville/Midtown Atlanta. Over about 10-12 days, Budget Moving Services helped with junk removal, and recycling all my moving boxes at no extra cost. Nick even helped me with navigating Atlanta traffic; he turned me onto MARTA, saving me close to $100 in Uber fees to pick up my car at the airport, even showing me how exactly to get to the MARTA station, and where long-term parking was for my trip back to Houston the following week to pick up the things the original mover couldn't get on the too-small 20ft truck. He reassured me that he and his hardworking crew (Sam and Phil) would be ready the second I arrived back in town, and they were good for their word. What really stands out is the highly competitive pricing combined with outstanding quality. These are hardworking, fast, safe, and solution-oriented movers who care about doing the job right. Whether you need discounted local moves in Gwinnett County, out of state long distance moving help, professional packing and unpacking services, or antique furniture reassembly in Lawrenceville, Budget Moving Services delivers. Nick is an incredible owner who leads by example. His customer service is top-notch, and the entire team made a very stressful relocation feel manageable and even enjoyable. If you're moving in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, or need help with a long-distance move to Georgia, I highly recommend Budget Moving Services!

Really loved how Budget Moving has “personalized moving services” specifically tailored to meet each individuals needs + expectations. Great moving company to work with. The owner was heavily involved with the move, was very responsive to emails, calls, and texts. The team was able to accept MULTIPLE revisions to the household goods inventory list, up to the day before we moved (with some price changes when larger furniture items were added, but that is to be expected and they were very transparent about it & gave us their systems inventory/cubic feet sheet and the price per cubic foot for our full-service move). Once on site at our business office, the team from Budget Moving was great. Very organized, professional, and friendly. They moved our office desks, bookcases, and all other office furniture carefully, and carefully onto the truck. They were very respectful of both properties during the relocation and the office we were vacating. When we were coming up against some time constraints, they still executed wonderfully, and we were an hour and a half over, to which they didn't charge us for!! Highly recommend Budget Moving Services for any local business office moving, packing, and storage needs within Atlanta, Gwinnett County, or North Georgia.
